Awesome picture, but I think it should be able to relate to drugs somehow without an explanation.

I was actually thinking you'd have a Lego head in this when I saw the title :XD:

I'm glad you used the word ABUSE and not the word USE in your description, because there's a huge difference between these two concepts many would not, or would refuse to, understand. Do you feel headless when you've drank too much coffee, or eaten too much caffine-filled chocolate? Do you feel headless when you're driking the first pint of alcohol of the day, or breathing in someone else's smoke? Do you feel headless when you've been taking your headache tablets, or sleeping pills, or psychiactric medication? Hopefully not, for most of these are not ABUSES of drugs, and these chemicals are unoubtably drugs, they are mere usage. What if you shot up on caffine though, or drank yourself into the gutter, or smoked yourself to death, or took painkillers for every minor itch until you felt any pain was intollerable, or couldn't sleep without sleeping pills, or took medication for every minor imperfection until you were a drooling mess? These things should make you feel like mr. legoman above. It is my oppinion that the chemicals of which you speak, the illegal drugs, are exactly the same, they can be USED and also they can be ABUSED. Most people fail to see the distinction between the two. I don't believe drug USE can ever be dropped to zero, nor should it be, because people need drugs, some need them to inhance their natural capabnilities, many even need recreational drugs to help them live their lives. The meere act of taking most drugs into the body, contry to common law and belief, is not abuse. The government has not cut use with it's harshest laws, it should focus on cutting those things which harm, like abuse.

Banning reserch into potential valid uses of chemicals currently illegal because they could be, potentially, abused (such as the medicinal effect for epilleptics of THC, or the memory enhancing effect of some stimulants which could help altzeimers sufferers) is unfoundable, because EVERY drug could be abused and often actually is.

None of us, it must also be remembered, don't even have our heads on (not on strait at least) but the picture is a great effective tool, better than the basless lies and laughable hyperbolie of government propaganda on the issue. Whilst the picture is unneded (no one doesn't know the dangers in this society, surely?) it is both telling and humorously true. I like how he's wearing poormans dungarees. The facial expression is just scary, btw, it really makes me nervous :p

mmm i love it. Infact i love this even more than break ranks. I think the focus and reflection are superb while the thrown up arms are a touch of genious... I wish it was as easy as it is to show the madness of drug abuse in this photograph, to those lost in all its highs and lows, or to those attracted to drugs in the first case.... hmmmm

This is a uniquely descriptive photograph. Very deep and very simple at once, which is a nice quality to come across.

As I note, I can see a little bit around the edges of the 'x's where you edited them in, but only in the full view.

Nice work.

Das Bild ist ziemlich cool
aber in der Spiegelung auf der schwarzen Fläche sieht man noch, dass die Augen ursprünglich "nur" die Lego Standart-Punktaugen waren.
Aber das macht eigentlich nichts. :D
